It shouldn't be allowed - there should be a law against it.OldFashionedGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06555657910705505594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8162106643950017132.post-61937014845184742662012-09-25T14:26:58.253-07:002012-09-25T14:26:58.253-07:00I guess it is mostly a British thing, and yet the ...I guess it is mostly a British thing, and yet the sole of the shoe, slipper, or sandal, though relatively uncommon, was an implement used for spanking when and where I was a child---that being the Western U.S. Unlike the cane, of which I was ignorant, I was well aware of what you're referring to here as slipper punishment. I don't think it was ever used at school, however.

I think an item of footwear can make an excellent spanking implement, but agree one must be selective. I wouldn't choose a sports shoe or some other types I've seen. Nothing is more disappointing than a spanking with an ineffective or inappropriate implement.
TFDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15694170149649278957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8162106643950017132.post-57414385016965995722012-09-25T01:29:35.160-07:002012-09-25T01:29:35.160-07:00Good luck on your quest, OFG! And don't get me started on what people try to sell as hairbrushes - there should be some sort of official standard for weight, durability etc

OFGOldFashionedGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06555657910705505594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8162106643950017132.post-65425314616377039592012-09-24T02:10:01.306-07:002012-09-24T02:10:01.306-07:00Hello there, OFG. Being a fan of domestic scenes, the slipper and the hairbrush loom large in my fantasy world and they have to be 'just right' to do the job.

I agree about plimsolls - unwieldy, inflexible things that it's hard to grip comfortably. As for hairbrushes, many of the new ones are made of some ridiculously light and flimsy wood and quite unsuited to their purpose. I mean, what do they think we're going to do with them - brush our hair?!Underlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05796851292291694070noreply@blogger.com
